Logic Puzzles

To begin our day, students will complete logical thinking puzzles to stimulate their brains and get them ready for a day full of higher level thinking.

Culture Study

Students will be introduced to cultures from all around the world and begin to learn the basics of the language such as the alphabet, making introductions, numbers, colors, and more to support our study of empathy, communication, social awareness, and networking.

Thinking Skills

In Thinking Skills, students have four objectives: to develop critical thinking skills, to develop creative thinking skills, to develop analytic skills, and to develop organizational skills.

Major Unit

This year, first and second grade will be combining for major unit. Your child will have a choice regarding their major unit. We will be trying to give as many students their first choice as possible, but have many factors to consider regarding splitting classes.
